Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and processing of federal pension and retirement claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze complex data sets regarding employee benefits and prepare detailed reports for federal oversight committees.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, guidelines, and agency policies in all daily operations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to resolve complex benefit inquiries and streamline processes.
- Manage sensitive documentation and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with security protocols.
- Conduct audits of pension records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the IT department to optimize federal case management software and databases.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal administration, public sector management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline (equivalent experience considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with federal case management systems (e.g., iPermit, ELM).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to specific scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing official correspondence.
