Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Answer and screen incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records and databases.
- Perform basic research using online resources and government databases.
- Support administrative staff with special projects and office errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for U.S. citizenship.
- No prior federal experience is required; this is an entry-level position.
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills (30 WPM minimum preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
