Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit claims processing with 98% accuracy
- Coordinate with medical facilities to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze administrative data to improve service delivery efficiency
- Provide direct support to veterans via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex cases
- Implement new VA policies and procedural updates
- Prepare weekly performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficient in VA claims systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Knowledge of HIPAA and veterans' privacy laws
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Experience with veteran service organizations highly desirable
