Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
- Process veterans' benefits claims with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and documentation
- Maintain confidential files in compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize VA-specific software systems for data management and reporting
- Support veteran outreach programs and community engagement initiatives
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for administrative processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance
- Experience with veteran affairs systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS)
