Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring accurate data entry into VA databases.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for office staff.
- Process and verify documents related to benefits and administrative requests with high attention to detail.
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, to ensure compliance with federal record-keeping standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and staff members via phone and email.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with government regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
