Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections of aircraft manufacturing and maintenance facilities
- Investigate aviation incidents and enforce federal safety regulations (14 CFR Part 43/145)
- Review and approve repair station technical data and quality control programs
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to resolve compliance issues
- Prepare detailed technical reports and enforcement recommendations
- Maintain current knowledge of FAA policies and international aviation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology, Engineering, or related field
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Minimum 3 years aviation maintenance experience in manufacturing or repair stations
- Proficiency in interpreting FAA regulations (FARs) and technical specifications
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in documentation reviews
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Valid U.S. driver's license
