Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize federal pension plans for veteran beneficiaries
- Process complex benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Develop strategic outreach initiatives for underserved veteran communities
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy compliance and regulatory updates
- Train junior staff on federal benefits regulations and procedures
- Analyze program data to identify service improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal benefits programs
- Expert knowledge of FERS/CSRS pension systems
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- VA Form 10-2850c application submission required
- Proficiency in VA Benefits Delivery Channel (VBMS)
