Responsibilities
- Process and manage veterans' benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Provide expert guidance on federal healthcare and retirement programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex benefit inquiries
- Maintain confidential records using VA-approved systems
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities
- Analyze benefit utilization data for process improvement
- Train new staff on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years federal benefits processing experience
- VA Form 10-2850c certification preferred
- Proficiency in VA Benefits Delivery Channel (BDC)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Expert knowledge of 38 CFR benefits regulations
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with veteran-centered service models
