Responsibilities
- Process and review federal benefit claims, retirement applications, and personnel actions with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal employees and veterans regarding health benefits, leave, and compensation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal data and personnel files in compliance with OPM regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure all federal hiring and administrative procedures are followed correctly.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on benefit utilization, payroll adjustments, and administrative metrics.
- Assist in the onboarding of new federal contractors and staff, ensuring compliance with agency security protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's in Public Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, human resources, or benefits processing (Federal experience is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of data entry without errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Must be able to pass a standard background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
