In this critical role, you will support federal employees by managing their benefits enrollment, claims, and inquiries. Responsibilities
- Process federal employee benefits applications, including retirement, health, and life insurance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to federal personnel regarding benefits questions.
- Review and verify documentation for compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in the Federal Personnel Data System (FPDS).
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with HR specialists to resolve complex benefits discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in federal benefits administration, HR, or customer service.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable background check (Public Trust clearance).
- Strong knowledge of federal benefits programs (FEHB, FERS, TSP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and federal HR software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
