Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 100% accuracy
- Analyze medical records and service documentation to establish claim validity
- Communicate claim decisions to veterans and their representatives
- Maintain detailed case documentation in federal databases
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams on complex cases
- Ensure compliance with 38 CFR and VA regulations
- Train junior examiners on claims processing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in claims adjudication or VA benefits
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office
- VA Form 10-2850c certification required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
- Experience with veterans' healthcare systems preferred
