Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' disability compensation claims with 48-hour turnaround targets
- Analyze medical records and service documentation to determine eligibility
- Communicate claim decisions to veterans via phone and written correspondence
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal advisors to resolve complex cases
- Maintain accurate case files in federal claim management systems
- Adhere to strict federal privacy and security protocols (HIPAA/FERPA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends when needed
