Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 99% accuracy
- Review medical documentation and service records for compliance with federal regulations
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and stakeholders
- Maintain detailed electronic case files in VA systems
- Collaborate with medical examiners and legal teams
- Ensure adherence to 38 CFR and VA policy guidelines
- Train on new claims processing procedures quarterly
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal claims processing experience
- Proficiency in VA VISTA and VBMS systems
- VA Form 10-2850c certification preferred
- Knowledge of 38 CFR Part 3 regulations
- Ability to pass TIER 1 background check
- Strong attention to detail with 95%+ accuracy
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
