Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare regulations (VA, HIPAA, CMS) for program compliance
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across VA facilities
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy interpretation
- Train staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Prepare compliance reports for agency leadership
- Monitor emerging federal healthcare legislation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance experience in federal/state regulated environments
- VA healthcare or federal agency background preferred
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) required
- Advanced knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation
- Expertise in regulatory audit methodologies
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
