Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies across all operations
- Conduct compliance audits and investigations of program activities
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and oversight agencies
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to resolve compliance issues
- Train staff on federal compliance requirements and best practices
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal employment)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs
- Proficiency with federal regulations (e.g., CFR, FAR) and auditing standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with compliance management software preferred
