Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of federal security protocols and compliance documentation
- Investigate potential violations and prepare detailed incident reports for leadership review
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for federal staff
- Collaborate with state/local agencies to align security standards
- Monitor regulatory changes and update compliance frameworks accordingly
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for congressional oversight committees
- Lead cross-functional teams during emergency response scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in federal/state compliance or security operations
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in federal regulatory frameworks (CFR, DHS directives)
- Strong analytical writing skills with report development experience
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and ability to travel 10% of time
- FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) certification or equivalent
