Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (VA, OMB, HIPAA)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments of VA programs
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Coordinate with legal and policy teams on regulatory updates
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain audit readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement and grants management
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., FedTrack, Deltek)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- US citizenship required
