Responsibilities
- Monitor federal regulations (HIPAA, VA directives) and implement compliance protocols
- Conduct risk assessments and audit healthcare facilities for compliance gaps
- Develop corrective action plans and track resolution progress
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and ethical standards
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure policy alignment
- Generate compliance reports for senior leadership
- Lead cross-departmental compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance or healthcare regulatory experience
- VA/Federal contracting background preferred
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and 38 CFR regulations
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong written communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
