Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies across healthcare operations
- Conduct comprehensive audits of compliance documentation and procedures
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Collaborate with department heads to maintain regulatory standards
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Train staff on federal compliance requirements and best practices
- Monitor legislative changes affecting healthcare compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA, VA regulations, and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in compliance management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
