Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA policies)
- Conduct compliance audits across 15+ departmental sites
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliance findings
- Train staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Collaborate with DOJ and OIG on investigations
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional review
- Lead cross-agency initiatives with CMS and HHS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 5+ years federal compliance experience
- Active VA security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and VA directives
- Project management certification (PMP preferred)
- Advanced data analysis skills with Tableau/Power BI
- Excellent written communication for policy documents
