Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA policies, OMB directives)
- Conduct internal audits and process reviews for healthcare facilities
- Develop compliance training programs for staff across Texas facilities
- Collaborate with state and local agencies on regulatory alignment
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Investigate non-compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Stay updated on evolving federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of compliance/regulatory experience in federal/state/local government
- Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and federal procurement rules
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with compliance software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders (veterans, medical staff, regulators)
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel to regional facilities
