Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across facilities
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and training materials
- Collaborate with legal and medical teams on policy implementation
- Report regulatory violations and recommend corrective actions
- Stay updated on evolving federal healthcare legislation
- Coordinate with OIG and other regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience
- Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and CMS standards
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., Compli)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP) preferred
