Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across all department operations
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for VA facilities in Tennessee
- Develop compliance training programs for 200+ staff members
- Coordinate with OMB and GSA on policy updates and reporting requirements
- Manage documentation systems to maintain ISO 9001 certification
- Lead cross-functional teams for compliance remediation projects
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance experience (VA/DOD/DoE background highly valued)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and VA acquisition regulations
- Proficient in compliance software (e.g., GSA Advantage, SAM.gov)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
