Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' benefit claims for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct audits of veteran service records to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop evidence-based compensation packages
- Provide expert guidance to veterans and families on benefits eligibility and application processes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and recommendations for policy improvements
- Train staff on updated VA regulations and procedural standards
- Coordinate with federal agencies to streamline veteran service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal compliance or veterans services
- Proficiency in VA claims processing systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Strong knowledge of 38 CFR Title 38 regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive veteran information with confidentiality
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
