Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulations for homeland security programs across California
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments for critical infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for non-compliance issues
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on joint security initiatives
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal stakeholders and congressional oversight
- Stay updated on evolving federal security protocols and regulatory changes
- Train personnel on compliance requirements and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal/state regulatory compliance
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret eligible)
- Knowledge of DHS/FEMA/CISA regulations and frameworks
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and audit protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in G Suite and compliance management software
