Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal regulations (VA, OMB, and GAO standards)
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Develop training materials for staff on compliance protocols
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on regulatory changes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Manage vendor contracts and procurement documentation
- Implement risk assessment frameworks for VA programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency with federal procurement systems (e.g., FPDS-NG)
- Knowledge of VA regulations and federal acquisition laws
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Experience with GAGAS auditing standards
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) preferred
