Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies across all program operations
- Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments for compliance documentation
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret and apply complex federal statutes
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and compliance protocols
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight and agency leadership
- Monitor emerging regulatory trends and update compliance frameworks accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GAINS, MAX)
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and procurement standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- US Citizenship required
