Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies across all departmental operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified violations
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret and apply complex federal statutes
- Train staff on compliance protocols and regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare and veterans' affairs regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., FedTracker, Comply365)
- Knowledge of VA regulations and federal healthcare standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
