As a weekend shift specialist, you'll work Saturdays and Sundays with a 12-hour schedule (6 AM - 6 PM), providing essential continuity of operations. This position offers remote flexibility with 20% on-site presence at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of security protocols and compliance documentation
- Investigate and resolve regulatory violations through detailed reporting
- Coordinate with federal agencies including TSA and CBP for joint operations
- Maintain digital compliance records using DHS systems (e.g., MAX)
- Train security personnel on updated federal regulations
- Prepare weekly compliance summaries for senior leadership
- Respond to emergency security incidents during weekend operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal compliance or security operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays as required
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
