Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend compliance audits for veteran healthcare facilities ensuring adherence to federal regulations (HIPAA, CMS, VA directives)
- Document and report regulatory violations using federal case management systems
- Collaborate with on-call medical staff to resolve weekend compliance incidents
- Prepare detailed weekend shift compliance reports for senior leadership review
- Maintain weekend regulatory checklists for facility operations and patient safety protocols
- Coordinate weekend inspections with federal oversight agencies
- Train weekend staff on updated compliance procedures and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 2 years compliance experience in federal or healthcare regulated environment
- Familiarity with VA regulations, HIPAA, and CMS standards
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Proficient in federal reporting systems (e.g., VISTA, Cerner)
- Valid U.S. government security clearance eligibility
- Strong written communication skills for incident documentation
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
