Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of commercial shipments and personal baggage at international ports of entry
- Enforce federal regulations regarding import/export compliance and customs procedures

- Collaborate with federal agencies including ICE and TSA to ensure border security protocols
- Utilize automated systems like ACS and TECS for real-time compliance monitoring
- Provide guidance to travelers and commercial representatives on customs requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass federal background check
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, law enforcement, or related field
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred for El Paso operations)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of federal customs regulations (19 CFR)
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills under pressure
