Job Overview
The Federal Contract Administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of government contracts. You will ensure compliance with federal regulations while maintaining strong relationships with agency stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review and edit federal contract proposals, statements of work, and amendments for accuracy and compliance with FAR guidelines.
- Monitor contract performance metrics and prepare status reports for government clients.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure deliverables meet contract specifications.
- Maintain organized contract files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Identify potential risks in contract execution and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external government partners.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, government contracting, or a related administrative role.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DOD regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a government security clearance.
