Responsibilities
- Manage federal procurement processes for veteran healthcare services and infrastructure projects
- Analyze contract requirements and negotiate terms with vendors and contractors
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific guidelines
- Monitor contract performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation and reports
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams for contract reviews
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal procurement or contracting experience
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and VA acquisition regulations
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or DAWIA Level II certification preferred
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience with federal procurement systems (e.g., FPDS-NG)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
