Responsibilities
- Review and analyze solicitation documents to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal contract terms
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute complex federal contracts including terms, pricing, and deliverables
- Monitor contract performance metrics and provide detailed compliance reports to leadership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and federal agencies to resolve procurement disputes
- Develop and maintain comprehensive contract documentation using automated management systems
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to support strategic procurement decisions
- Stay current on federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and implement policy updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of federal procurement or contract management experience
- Proficiency in FAR/DFARS regulations and federal acquisition processes
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) certification preferred
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret complex legal and financial documents
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with demonstrated stakeholder management
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
