Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle federal contracts including RFP development, negotiation, and award execution
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations and agency-specific policies
- Coordinate with government stakeholders and prime contractors on deliverables
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting systems
- Support budget analysis and cost control initiatives for assigned contracts
- Represent agency in contract disputes and resolution proceedings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years federal contracting experience with DoD or similar agency
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) or DAWIA Level II certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition procedures
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Proficiency in FPDS-NG and other federal procurement systems
