Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Contracts: Oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from initiation to closeout, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, agency policies, and compliance standards to avoid penalties.
- Pension Administration: Assist in the accurate calculation and processing of employee pension contributions and benefits for the federal workforce.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal agencies, providing updates, reports, and resolving contractual discrepancies.
- Document Management: Maintain organized, secure, and up-to-date digital and physical records of all federal contracts and personnel files.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports related to contract expenditures and budget forecasting.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies within federal contract workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting, government relations, or administrative support roles.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (or possess an active clearance).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or government-specific portals) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel required).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret complex federal regulations for diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to manage high volumes of data with precision and accuracy.
