Responsibilities
- Receive and screen incoming telephone calls, emails, and visitors to ensure accurate routing and timely responses.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries regarding VA benefits, programs, and services.
- Process and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and status updates using federal databases.
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence, memos, and reports while adhering to strict government confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve complex veteran issues and ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for Federal positions.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a Federal background investigation and security clearance check.
