Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats to federal systems using advanced SIEM tools
- Develop and implement robust security protocols for classified networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on government infrastructure
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement on cyber incident response
- Prepare detailed security reports and brief senior leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expertise in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) frameworks
- Strong analytical and threat intelligence interpretation skills
