Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced security protocols for federal IT infrastructure
- Monitor network activity for threats using SIEM tools and threat intelligence
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security standards
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity best practices
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security or equivalent government role
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with FedRAMP and CMMC frameworks
- Experience with AWS/Azure security tools and cloud architectures
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Strong analytical skills and threat mitigation experience
