Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support veteran healthcare initiatives
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems for compliance with federal regulations
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure data accuracy and security across VA systems following federal standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Document data processes and implement quality control measures
- Present findings to leadership with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal/government exposure
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, FISMA, and federal data governance standards
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) preferred
- Experience with ETL processes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
