Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support policy development and program evaluation
- Document data processes and create comprehensive metadata documentation
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
