Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder briefings
- Ensure all data handling adheres to federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support strategic decision-making
- Document data methodologies and maintain audit-ready data dictionaries
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal/government data
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Experience with large-scale database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
