Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex environmental and resource datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols and documentation
- Collaborate with federal agencies to align data strategies with conservation objectives
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive reports
- Implement data governance frameworks compliant with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance standards
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Advanced visualization skills with Tableau or Power BI
- Strong knowledge of FISMA, HIPAA, and OMB data management policies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
