Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends affecting veteran outcomes
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (HIPAA, FISMA) and reporting regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions for VA initiatives
- Present complex findings to senior leadership through compelling visual storytelling
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or healthcare analytics
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Tableau/Power BI certification with portfolio of federal dashboard examples
- Deep understanding of federal data governance frameworks (e.g., OMB guidelines)
