Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring 99.9% accuracy and compliance with federal security protocols
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI
- Conduct statistical modeling and predictive analysis to support public health initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to FISMA, HIPAA, and OMB guidelines
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical software (R/SAS)
- Proven experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with healthcare data systems (HCUP, NHANES, NHIS) required
- Strong understanding of federal compliance regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
