Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and generate actionable insights for policy development
- Design and implement data visualization dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (HIPAA, FISMA, and 21 CFR Part 11)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, data-driven narratives
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases for federal healthcare performance metrics
- Lead data quality assurance initiatives for critical public health datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in government or regulated healthcare environments
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Strong experience with large-scale federal healthcare datasets (Medicare, Medicaid, HHS surveys)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
