Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using advanced statistical methods and visualization tools
- Develop automated data pipelines to ensure integrity and accessibility of mission-critical information
- Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards for executive leadership and congressional oversight
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards including FISMA and HIPAA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling visual storytelling
- Continuously optimize data models to enhance predictive accuracy and decision support capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal data systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 508 compliance)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle ambiguous data scenarios
- Clearance eligibility or existing federal security clearance required
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
