Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies supporting homeland security objectives
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, and visualization tools
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and quality control measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Maintain compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST standards)
- Present insights to senior leadership through clear, concise visual storytelling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and experimental design
- Ability to handle sensitive data with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Active security clearance eligibility required
