Responsibilities
- Collect, Cleanse, and Integrate: Gather large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various federal systems and ensure data quality for analysis.
- Federal Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards for federal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with compliance standards (e.g., FAR, NIST).
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within federal programs.
- Data Visualization: Create intuitive and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict government security protocols (CUI, DFARS) and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and implement analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Clearance: Current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical data to senior leadership.
