Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, 508 accessibility)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support veteran healthcare and benefit programs
- Document data methodologies and create reproducible analysis pipelines
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis
- Strong knowledge of Tableau/Power BI for data visualization
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with veteran healthcare systems (VISTA, CPRS) highly valued
